Ever keen to support and encourage the next generation, HSSP Architects hosts annual summer work experience placement weeks. This year was a busy time with more students seeking a placement than we could offer, but those who we could accommodate have said how much they have enjoyed it and found it insightful.

One piece of unprompted feedback we received:

“It really helped to cement my interest in architecture, and I am currently in the process of starting an extended project qualification which I am thinking of focusing on architecture. I will use the experience and connections, as they were incredibly helpful, so I’ll make sure I use the opportunity to its fullest.”

They undertake various tasks and project work whilst they are here, ranging from designing a home to constructing a tower from dry spaghetti and midget gems!

It has been a pleasure to enthuse these aspiring architects and to give them insight into the world of a busy architectural practice.
