“Let’s go to the movies, let’s go see the stars…..”

The Christmas party weekend away 2022 was held in the new year of 2023 and what a fabulous time the team had going to the movies and being the stars of their very own show at The Derwent in Bamford!

Saturday daytime was spent by the majority of the team going on a walk that took in the beautiful countryside and incorporated one of the finest views of the Peak District. Other members of the team ambled to the coffee shop to settle down with a hot chocolate for a natter and then walked on to the pub to join the weary hikers for a refreshing beverage.

It was time to razzle dazzle on Saturday night with the fancy dress theme being ‘Movies and TV’, and what an inventive bunch the team are! Take a look at the pictures to see for yourself. Iconic movies and TV shows were represented which created a real party atmosphere.

Everyone took their turn as part of the various catering groups from Friday night through to Sunday morning, with us all putting our feet up Saturday night to be looked after by The Wood Fired Pizza Company – their artisan pizzas and salads are amazing and we highly recommend them. They were not even taken aback to be met by ‘The Snowman’ when they arrived, or to have ‘Peaky Blinders’, ‘Homer Simpson’ and ‘Batman’ come to them for dinner!

A fantastic time was had by adults and children alike.
