HSSP’s Ros and Sam headed to The University of Nottingham End of Year Show 2023 to view the talent of aspiring architectural students and to look for potential candidates for Part1 year out placements with us this year.
Later that day saw two of our Architectural Assistants and former Part 1 year out placements, Katie and Cory, scoop a multitude of awards between them.
Katie, who has just completed the first year of her four-year masters apprenticeship, was awarded first prize for The Leonard Design 5th Year Portfolio for the highest achieving 5th Year Portfolio for part-time studies.
Cory, who has just completed the final year of his masters, achieved his very own hat trick by collecting first prize for the RIBA Silver Medal Nomination, Conservation & Design Prize Part 2, and Tectonics Prize.
Naturally we our exceptionally proud of their successes. They have both worked extremely hard and it is wonderful their creativity and dedication has been recognised by these prestigious awards.
We look forward to continuing to support Katie on the next stage of her apprenticeship and welcoming Cory back to HSSP at the end of July for the commencement of his Part 3.
