Most of us would love the opportunity to build and live in our dream home and one of our clients has made this dream come true.

Having experienced self-building their current home, the clients eagerly approached HSSP Architects to design their dream Queen Anne inspired new residence and we are delighted that we have secured planning permission for them. The clients are excitedly underway with the works and we very much look forward to following their progress and seeing it coming to fruition.

The beautiful new 4 bedroom two storey home and detached garage replace a 1980’s style bungalow and detached garage currently on the site that do nothing to enhance the village panorama. The Village Plan boasts of the variety of architectural styles within the village and this one will be a welcome addition to the eclectic mix.

The symmetrical front, proportioned windows and an oval window taking top centre stage in line with the front door create an eye catching design. Inside gives way to a delightful open plan kitchen, dining, living room and garden room area – bringing lots of natural daylight into the space. There is a separate office/snug, boot room, utility room, gym and shower facilities.

Upstairs the master suite opens into a dressing room which then opens into an en-suite. A second bedroom hosts an en-suite, with two further bedrooms and a family bathroom.

A lift has been incorporated giving open access to upstairs and downstairs to future proof the potential needs of our clients and their family.

The new detached double garage has also been thoughtfully designed with two sets of barn style door sets and storage space above.

With the house and garage finished in red brick, red stone details and complemented with a grey slate roof and grey windows and doors, they really will look a feast for the eyes.
