“From all acorns grow mighty oaks”, could not be a more apt way to describe Waterside Village. The latest ‘acorn’ to take root and reach for the sky is The Wharf. It is fantastic to see the building taking shape, with works already at second floor level.

The Wharf will join its ‘sister buildings’; The Mill, a historic former mill dating from 1889 which was converted into a stylish apartment complex, and The Gate, a new build luxury apartment complex.

Both The Gate and The Wharf have been designed to harmonise with The Mill, yet have their own modern identities whilst being distinctive to each other. They all have a nod to the feeling of yesteryear with historic elements fused with modern fundamentals and high end fixtures and fittings.

Shared communal facilities are in each of the buildings, with shared working and socialising areas, and residents’ gyms. The Gate houses the private swimming pool. Outside is a communal garden and barbeque area which encourages a community atmosphere.

The buildings have been designed for living, working and playing in, and offer a charming way of life. We very much look forward to watching The Wharf become its own mighty oak and take its rightful place, and thereby completing this exciting development.
