ProCon have announced the finalists for the prestigious ProCon Leicestershire Awards 2024, and HSSP Architects are thrilled to be one of the finalists with our client, Solus Homes Limited for the ‘Large Residential Award’ category with The Wharf, Waterside Village.

The Wharf was the third and final phase of Waterside Village and completed a new gateway hub into Loughborough that has inspirationally transformed that end of the town. With health and wellbeing encouraged in all aspects of residents’ lives, and sustainable living being the ethos of the development, it really is the perfect place to reside.

This new build 55 luxury one and two bedroom apartment complex joins its historic ‘sister building’ The Mill which dates from 1889 and its modern ‘sister’ The Gate. The industrial look of yesteryear has been replicated throughout and fused with modern fundamentals to create striking social spaces and apartments.

A stunning roof garden complete with two geodesic domes and socialising areas adorns the top of the building and is a unique setting to while away the evening.

We are delighted that our inspired designs and innovative approach continues to be recognised and applauded.

The winners will be announced at the ProCon Leicestershire Awards evening on 14 November 2024. This sell-out event is the county’s largest celebration of the built environment and showcases the industry’s achievements.
