HSSP Architects are proud to support young people on their development journey, from talking at career evenings to enabling work experience within their studio. Even one of our directors, James Botterill, started as a trainee with HSSP in 1994, so we know how valuable giving people opportunities and encouragement to find their right path in life is.
Ashby School once again welcomed HSSP Architects as part of their Careers Evening which gave Nick Cooper and Samantha Griffiths, who are one of our directors and one of our associates respectively, the opportunity to showcase our projects and talk to students and their families regarding the architectural career pathway and the potential they could attain from it.
Nick and Samantha also attended the Ratcliffe College Careers Fair in September providing the same level of discussion opportunity and project exploration. Flyers were handed out at both events so students could reflect on the information over the coming weeks.
We appreciate studying to become an architect may seem daunting, so we find by talking through the various studying routes, it breaks it down and enthuses people this may be right for them as it is a very interesting, fun and rewarding career.
