The team at HSSP Architects know how lucky they are, so like to do their bit for charity and partake in fund raising for worthy causes. The team pulled together to hold a MacMillan Coffee Morning with two kind volunteers baking – Dave rustled up cheesy wheels and Rob crafted lemon drizzle cake!
What goes better with cake and a cheesy wheel than a tea or coffee? So Angela and Ros offered teas, fluffy coffees and refills of water bottles.
With sweet and savoury options, and beverages being offered, everyone’s taste buds were catered for and elevenses were ready made in exchange for donations to the charity.
For a bit of creative fun, we also asked the team to wear a green item of clothing or accessory to show their support.
MacMillan Cancer Support provides tremendous assistance to 3 million people living with cancer in the UK and enables them to live life as fully as they can. Cancer can have far reaching physical, emotional and financial affects, and MacMillan are there to help.
Practical support includes talking about money and work worries and providing resolutions, whilst there is emotional support to talk about how people are feeling. They provide invaluable information, resources and ongoing support to the diagnosed person and their families.
The team had a fabulous time and enjoyed raising money for this wonderful life enhancing charity.
