The evening of Thursday 14 November 2024 was the hottest ticket in town with the sell-out ProCon Awards showing the very best projects and developments in the county.

It was a night for celebration for HSSP Architects, their client Solus Homes, and interior designers BARK Design Studios, as The Wharf, Waterside Village, was announced the winner of the Large Residential Scheme of the Year Award 2024.

The Wharf, a new build 55 luxury one- and two-bedroom apartment complex, is stunning both inside and out, that’s had thought and attention to detail poured into it. The design intention for a vibrant waterside development that takes inspiration from its historic ‘sister building’, The Mill, yet having its own modern identity, has been exceptionally successful.

Set on stylish hallways complete with artwork, steel columns and feature lighting, the apartments feature a hand-selected mix of textures, materials and finishes. A concierge service based in the open plan welcoming reception area is complemented with highly desirable shared communal working, socialising and eating areas, and a fully equipped private gymnasium.

The development very much encourages sustainable living in all aspects of residents’ and promotes a healthy way of life. A glorious roof garden sits on top of the complex, which has been fully landscaped, hosts two eye catching geodesic domes, and luxury seating and socialising areas.
