British Pie Week runs from 3 to 9 March 2025 with the British Pie Awards in Melton Mowbray sitting at the heart of the celebrations that honour the craft and skill of British pie makers from the north of Scotland all the way down to Cornwall.

HSSP Architects are delighted to be a sponsor of these national awards once more. This year we are sponsoring the Fish and Chip Shop Pie Class which is sure to attract many mouth-watering creations.

The class will be judged hot, and the pies have to be commercially sold in a Fish and Chip shop.

HSSP Director, Nick Cooper, is delighted to return as a judge again this year and as part of the judging regime will be casting a critical eye over the pie class he is asked to judge to score their appearance, taste, etc. and whether they meet the entry requirements.

With 26 different categories, including hot and cold, sweet and savoury, meat, fish, vegetarian, vegan, and free-from, it gives the pie makers’ infinite possibilities with their creativity.

The winners will be announced on 7 March 2025, and we wish all entrants the very best of luck.
