We bid an especially fond farewell to Mala Pearson who joined HSSP Architects in September 2023 for her year out Part 1 placement having graduated from The University of Nottingham. Mala has been a real treasure to work with, and it’s been lovely for us to be a part of her learning and to see her work progress across the stages of the RIBA Plan of Work which varied in complexity as the year went by.

Mala says she has had a great year, how lovely the team are, and that she has really enjoyed the work and getting involved in the activities, social aspects and business networking.

The team came together for lunch on her last day to give Mala a good send off. She is taking a year out to pursue other work placements and has a month-long travelling vacation booked to Brazil in March next year! We wish her every success.
