We are delighted to announce the completion of Langdale Grange. A complex of 10 new 1 and 2 bedroom apartments has been constructed to the rear of an existing Victorian property in Melton Mowbray. Planning permission had already been approved for the development prior to our client purchasing the site, then we were commissioned for the technical design and construction phases.
The development harmonises with the Victorian property and takes inspiration from its period features. The red brick work has been contrasted with cast stone corbels, flat splayed heads with keystone detail and stooled cills to bring decorative detailing. The beautiful ground floor bay windows bring character and lots of natural light to the apartments.
Each apartment benefits from individual boilers, underfloor heating and LED lighting, thereby contributing to energy efficiency and making them cosy too. Whilst parking is provided, because the development is within walking distance of the town centre, bus routes and the train station, alterative travel choices are an easy option, thereby further enabling sustainable living.
