The team at HSSP Architects are keen fundraisers who would have scaled the Yorkshire Three Peaks earlier in the year had it not been for Covid-19, so they were delighted to be able to carry on raising money for charity by donning their jeans again this year in support of Jeans for Genes Day.
Jeans for Genes Day is a fun event that provides much needed fund raising for Genetic Disorders UK, the charity who support UK children with a life altering genetic disorder. Individually genetic disorders are rare, but they can have a devastating impact on a child and their family. Take a look at their website to read some of their heart felt stories. https://www.jeansforgenesday.org/
With the office being split for safe working, we adopted two days for wearing jeans. The team joined in whole heartedly with denim jeans, jeggings, shirts and jackets being the attire of choice.
Not only were we raising money for a worthy cause but also having a really fun time that escalated into much hilarity when it came to taking the photographs – the evidence speaks for itself (!) – and it was perfect for rallying the team spirit.
