Demolition of two vacant buildings on the site which will be home to the new Travis Perkins branch in Swindon heralds the start of the practical phase of this exciting project.

Designed by HSSP Architects, the ambitious design creates one of the largest branches of the Travis Perkins network by marrying striking aesthetic features that bring a strong visual identity, with enviable environmental and sustainable credentials.

Having to achieve BREEAM Excellent Rating in accordance with the Swindon Borough Local Plan 2015-2026, great thought was poured into the design to incorporate energy saving, sustainability, water saving, health and wellbeing, multiple travel options, biodiversity, and embodied carbon elements to achieve this rating and go beyond, which it has successfully done so.

We are very much looking forward to following its progress and seeing the branch come to fruition.
