HSSP Architects are delighted to secure outline planning permission for 50 new homes in Long Bennington.
Each local authority has to have a housing land supply plan and The South Kesteven District Council Local Plan Core Strategy referenced this field in their local plan site assessments in 2017 as being a site that could be allocated for residential development.
The field is snuggled between existing residential and commercial areas whilst still benefitting from countryside views, and is ideally placed to support the council’s housing land supply plan and bring much needed new homes to the area.
The development has been beautifully designed to graciously curl around the space, providing an array of house types and bungalows ranging from 2 to 4/5 bedrooms. Parking provision is just as extensive with many different options, and the way the land has been carved for the individual plots, makes each new home totally unique.
Private and public amenity spaces have been included, along with a water attenuation pond that will not only collect excess water but will also add biodiversity with the natural species of flora and fauna it will attract.
It is a lovely development and we look forward to seeing it come to fruition.
If you have a field or land and you would like to explore its development opportunities, why not give HSSP a call to talk it through?
