HSSP Architects are delighted to secure outline planning permission for an additional 31 new homes in Hose, which adjoins the outline planning permission HSSP already received for 35 new homes on the neighbouring plot.
Since permission was granted for the 35 new homes, Melton Borough Council adopted this second piece of land within the Melton Local Plan, thereby opening up the potential for its development.
The new indicative developments are attractively laid out, with a mix of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes, each with a private rear garden and parking provision. Community spirit is encouraged with a court yard communal garden and children’s play area.
Privacy and separation from the nearby farmhouse and its working activities has been achieved with a planted screen bund that will be complemented with landscaping, bushes and mixed structured native species hedgerow planting.
Respect and inclusivity for nature is key, with a 5m wide wildlife corridor running alongside the hedgerow boundary and newt friendly tunnels under the roadway, bringing cohesive happy living for people, flora and fauna.
The scheme has been designed to meet the carbon reduction targets of the latest Building Regulations through fabric efficiencies, low energy technologies and sustainable technologies solar PV cells.
If you have a field or land and you would like to explore its development opportunities, why not give HSSP a call to talk it through?
