Full visual impact assessments were required, and a mitigation strategy agreed for soft landscaping and earth bunding (mounding) and strategic planting of trees to obscure the building.
We engineered an impressive 30m clear span conveyor belt bridge to move products from one site to another whilst allowing HGV delivery traffic to flow below. The sheer size of this component created issues of delivery to site due to the semi-rural location; many parts required assembly and welding on site.
Bespoke steel engineering was required to enable an open expanse on the ground floor that housed the unmanned robotic warehouse whilst holding the weight of forklift activity in the packaging department above.
