Richard Johnson

Richard began studying architecture at Lincoln University in 2007 followed by his masters at the University of Sheffield in 2011. He completed his Post Graduate Diploma and became an ARB registered Architect in 2018 joining HSSP Architects shortly after graduation.

During his professional career he gained 5 years’ experience in the high end residential sector working on a range of large scale domestic projects for private clients. He joined HSSP to further his career bringing his skills and knowledge of residential design and to expand his experience across multiple sectors.

He has a keen eye for detail and is involved in all scales and types of projects from inception to completion and enjoys taking on the responsibility of project coordination from carrying out planning applications to completing tender and construction packages.

Outside of work Richard is a member of the Ramblers and enjoys walking, hiking and cycling with a keen interest in health and fitness. Richard has recently carried out significant remodelling, extension and decoration work to his own family home – most of the work he undertook himself, along with transforming their huge rear garden which is loved by their adorable dog Bambi.
