The United Kingdom Property Awards have announced their winners for 2023 and HSSP Architects, our client Solus Homes and interior designer Bark Design Studios, are delighted to have won an award for the ‘Residential Development 20+ units’ category for Waterside Village, Loughborough.

The United Kingdom Property Awards, part of the International Property Awards, celebrates the highest levels of achievement in the property sector from around the country.

The attention to detail that has been poured into this project is evident in all aspects of the development. From the retention of the original mill chimney to the commissioned sculpture of ‘The Flying Wheel’ – the logo and trademark of the original owners of The Mill, to the regeneration of The Mill being the inspiration for the two modern apartment complexes, through to the bespoke kitchens, fixtures and fittings throughout.

With 195 luxury apartments, shared socialising and working areas, and fully equipped fitness facilities including private gymnasiums and a swimming pool, it really is a fusion of historical yesteryear meeting modern fundamentals that creates the perfect place to reside.

We look forward to receiving our award at the gala awards evening in November 2023 and hearing whether we have also achieved Five Star award status and the potential for being eligible for the International Property Awards.
